Discussion about Ringtones application

Release: Ringtones 2.89

Hi all,

First, thanks to testers.

Ringtones 2.89 is here, with advanced conversion. You can now cut your song and add a fade in / out.
Please don’t name your ringtones with special characters, if you don’t see your converted tone in ringtones settings, please try with another song name.

You have to add my repository:

http://i.danstaface.net/deb/

It’s tested on 3GS with firmware 3.1.2, so the bug on firmware 3.1.x are gone.

Enjoy, it’s probably the last version

Ringtones beta test for OS3.0 / 3.1

I looking for some tester for the next version of ringtones.

Leave a comment i’ll contact you soon. I only need 5 testers.

You need to be "ssh compliant", know how use apt/dpkg, if you don’t, please wait for the final version !

Ringtones! on OS3

Ringtones now works on OS3

You can convert any song you have in your music libray into ringtone, without itunes or any other software.

Enjoy on my repository

Edit: The cut part of song is in advanced conversion but i have to port this part of code… Just stay tuned 🙂

Firmware 3.0 support

Hi ppl,

Long time, isn’t ? 🙂

I just started porting vWallpaper/vRingtones on firmware 3.0.

Actually i got hook part working, i have to finish port of GUI app

Testers can write to me (you know my email, and please don’t publish it! :p), i will send back 2 .deb to install.

vWallpaper & Skrewcommon got an update, with fully automatised installation

Also i started porting Ringtones for iPhone 2.x. There are only quick convert option ATM.

As usual, it’s only for regular testers. I don’t take any new tester for the moment. Thanks for understanding.

Ringtones 2.84 here! Set ringtones without converting process!

Click on "start converting", "Direct ringtones", "Select Global Ringtone", choose a song, press "Set as default ringtone" and its done! Make a test call to verify. Verify you have rebooted iphone and enabled "Enable Ringtones!" switch.

You need to install SkrewCommon for vWallpaper and Ringtones. You can found it in System category on installer Application.
